Vico “HS High Stake”
Digitization of the insurance world – that was the challenge for HDI after the conclusion of a partnership with “Community Life”, a joint venture with annual sales of € 5 billion. The web application was supposed to support all sales activities and was implemented in record time by Vico “HS High Stake”.
The Challenge
Following the acquisition, HDI aimed to integrate Community Life into its broader portfolio by launching a digital platform that would allow customers to buy insurance products directly online. The vision extended far beyond a simple sales portal. The new application needed to guide users through every step of the buying process—from understanding their needs and identifying the most suitable insurance plans to automatically calculating personalized pricing based on user input.
Community Life was looking for more than just developers. They needed a strategic partner who could design, architect, and build the application from scratch, with the flexibility to adapt to new requirements and business insights along the way. The complexity of insurance products, combined with the need for an engaging and frictionless user experience, made this a high-stakes undertaking
