What is a Vico and a Vico Lead?

A Vico (Virtual Company) is your team that grows around your projects. It brings together your own staff (if you have any), independent experts from your network and further vetted experts from the Vicoland network. As the Vico Lead you are the main contractor of the Vico: you own the projects, you choose the team, you own delivery and you earn a profit as an entrepreneur. Vicoland or you win the clients, and Vicoland also provides the platform and the network for it.

What does it cost?

Joining Vicoland and building your Vico are completely free. No subscription fees, no set-up costs, no commitment. A platform fee of 2% applies to all live projects. If Vicoland matches an expert to your Vico, an additional 10% fee applies for that expert (much less than a staffing agency). If you bring your own team, there are no extra fees.

What is the Vicoland platform for?

The Vicoland platform supports you at every step of running your Vico. From onboarding your team members and managing contracts through to project planning, quotes, invoicing and payments. Everything is documented in one place. You stay legally secure and operationally lean.

What about the risk of bogus self-employment?

Vicoland is designed to keep you legally secure. Every task and the related agreements are documented on the platform automatically. That creates a record of independent collaboration. The Vico manages its own structure, distributes tasks and coordinates schedules, acting independently. So you scale your team with confidence, without the legal risks of informal arrangements made off-platform.

Can only freelancers sign up as a Vico Lead?

Not at all. Vicoland is built for anyone with the ambition to become ever more successful as an entrepreneur. Whether you are a freelancer, a small consultancy or an established company looking to grow through a new, low-risk business model: as a Vico Lead you combine your own staff (if you have any) and network with experts from the Vicoland network. On average, Vicos are made up of more than 50% freelancers, from your own network or matched by Vicoland. So you scale up or down flexibly for every project.

How quickly can I find experts for my project?

Quickly. As soon as you share your project needs on the platform, Vicoland suggests matching candidates from our network of over 30,000 vetted freelancers and service boutiques, typically within 24 hours. You review the profiles, make your choice and contract directly with your Vico Members.

Can I bring my own experts into my Vico?

Absolutely. Your own network is even the foundation of your Vico. You invite the experts you already know and trust, and contract directly with them on projects. Vicoland is there when you need extra capacity. Your network always comes first.

What kind of projects can I bring to Vicoland?

Any project that needs a team to deliver it. When it comes to matching clients, Vicoland currently specialises in SAP and AI projects. But the platform supports any project where you want to scale your team without the overhead of hiring.

Can AI agents be part of my Vico?

Yes. As a Vico Lead you can integrate AI-powered SAP solutions directly into your Vico as agentic Vico Members. These AI agents have already proven themselves in Vico projects and work side by side with your human team. They help you deliver more efficiently and give you extra margin. You monetise AI as part of your Vico offering, just like any other expert.
